Personal History:
Benny was born and raised in South London. He has a younger sister named Alexa, who he adores most of the time, even though she can be quite annoying with the way she follows him around and repeats nearly everything he says. He forgives her for this, because she is only 6 and therefore obviously doesn't know any better.

His father teaches primary school - a fact that was quite embarrassing when Ben was attending said school, but now that he's at Hogwarts, it doesn't bother him so much. His mum owns a shop in Diagon Alley.

Being born a halfblood, Ben has been exposed almost equally to both the magical and the muggle world. He wasn't really surprised when he got his Hogwarts letter, as his mum had told him all about magic and her old school, and he was quite excited to have a chance to go there himself.

Personality:
Ben is very sensitive to the feelings of those around him and is easily influenced by the moods of others. As a result, he seems to be quite moody and his moods don't always reflect what is going on in his own life. Happy or sad, his mood is largely determined by the people with whom he spends most of his time.

Ben gives and receives affection easily, which can lead to people thinking he is a bit of a doormat. However, Ben does not take things lying down and those who mistakingly try to take advantage of his placidity will find that when he is rouse to anger, he does not calm down easily.

Ben is quite possessive of his friends and doesn't like to share them with anyone else. He is comfortable with the small group of himself and his two best friends - Aury and Izzy - but he gets jealous easily when he sees them making friends outside of the group. When the three get older and those two start dating boys, it will not be pretty.

Ben's feels influence his decisions so greatly that it is impossible for him to be objective. He has a good sense of what is and isn't right for him, though, so as he grows up he will learn to differentiate between emotional whims and real intuition.

He is very energetic and self-assertive and he would never retreat from a fight. In point of fact, he often looks for conflict where there is none. He is impulsive and restless and has a tendency to only see his own side of things, becoming quite angry when someone challenges his beliefs.

Best subjects - max of three: Charms - His mother was quite gifted at it and passed that gift on to him, apparently. She used to show him little Charms when he was younger, though he could not, of course, attempt them as an underage wizard with no wand. He works harder in that subject than others, because he wants her to be proud of him.

Worst subjects - no max: DADA - He just cannot cast a hex or defensive spell to save his life. He works hard to try and improve, because it's really embarrassing that his best friends - two GIRLS - are constantly rescuing him from anyone who wishes to bully him, because he fails at defending himself. Unfortunately, his hard work hasn't really paid off so far.
